Is this spirituality only for religious sisters?

 

The Sisters of the Fiat aspire to live out this Spirituality within their consecrated life. 

 

However, this spirituality is open to everyone, for Our Lord taught His disciples to pray saying, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”(Matthew 6:10)

 

Actually, it is essential for every human person, for Our Lord makes it very clear for us, through St. John, “and the world passes away and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God, abides forever.” (1 John 2:17)

 

As you can see from the above passage and the one that follows, our very salvation depends upon it, for, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 7:21)

 

Therefore, there are Lay Missionaries of the Fiat, who embrace a more specific prayer life as well as more formation, meeting together for monthly prayer and study.
